DAY ONE: ARRIVAL AT AUCKLAND 

At Auckland International Airport, your host will meet you on arrival in New Zealand and assist you on your Transfer from Auckland International Airport to Queenstown. Expect a 2-hour journey traveling the length of New Zealand.

DAY TWO: HELI SKI FIRST TURNS

DAY THREE: SKI BIG

Enjoy an unforgettable day of heli-skiing in some of New Zealand’s most pristine alpine terrain. This full-day excursion is designed for advanced skiers and riders eager to explore remote, rarely accessed lines hidden deep within the backcountry.

Your journey begins with a short vehicle transfer from Whare Kea Lodge to the heli base, where our expert mountain guides will lead the way. Over the next seven hours, you’ll carve through untouched snow across dramatic landscapes—an experience truly worth writing home about. Expect adrenaline-fueled descents, awe-inspiring scenery, and a sense of freedom only the Southern Alps can deliver.

DAY FOUR - SEVEN: SKI EXPEDITION 

Embark on a true alpine adventure through the heart of New Zealand’s Southern Alps. Begin with a scenic vehicle transfer from Wānaka to Mt. Cook Village, where you’ll board a helicopter and fly deep into the National Park. Your destination: a remote backcountry hut nestled along the Main Divide.

This multi-day experience is designed for seasoned skiers seeking a challenging, off-the-grid journey. With breathtaking views from the spine of the Southern Alps, you'll spend your days skiing off-piste through rugged, mountainous terrain. A high level of fitness and comfort in remote alpine environments is essential.

Evenings are spent enjoying hearty, backcountry cuisine skillfully prepared by your expert guiding team—capping off each day with warmth, camaraderie, and a sense of achievement.

DAY EIGHT: RECHARGE IN STYLE

After spending three nights in the remote wilderness, return to Queenstown. Today is yours, with a helicopter on call to explore the surroundings or get into other incredible activities. Relax and enjoy the town, or head out exploring the surroundings of the Ben Lomond Mountains, the Remarkable Mountains, or take a short flight to surf and freedive on the wild west coast in isolated paradise.

DAY NINE: DEPARTURE

During your backcountry ski expedition in the Southern Alps we will make use of the remote alpine huts. 

Located above the Tasman Saddle in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, Kelman Hut will be the ideal location for experiencing the remote terrain.
